Christmas Building

Becky, my sister in law and her husband, Jeff, gave me this little building as a Christmas gift.

It's actually a Christmas tree decoration.

It's a nice little chapel.

It's a cardboard building.

It's a very nice size.

A reminder to always keep a look out for wargame buildings!

Buildings

This year Dollar Tree did not have their usual Christmas buildings, but I did get some at Wal-Mart.

They are a bit smaller than the old Dollar Tree versions.

Still, they are painted better than the old Dollar Tree ones.

The buildings look a bit more European than the old ones usually look.

The buildings are very distinctive so I did not get multiples of more than a couple of them.

Spooky Buildings

Sometimes the Halloween or Christmas buildings need a little work before they can be deployed on the wargame table.

These goofy purple gargoyles are a good example.  Sometimes they can be cut off, or sanded down.  Painting them a different color is sometimes enough.

Other items can be hidden with vegitation, or covered over with epoxy and sculpted into more appropriate designs.

This pair of buildings is not bad as is, no real work required.

At least on these sides.

The small tombstone can be altered into a mailbox, package, or plant life.

This one may need a lot of work!
