Dollar Tree Buildings

9/08/2014 Add Comment

Another Dollar Tree Halloween building.

The balcony is nice because it's large enough for a soldier or two.

Many old buildings had towers and annexes.

It's another good, generic building.

This building is a school house with a school bell in a tower.

Others have said it's a church, but the design is not much like a church.

Dollar Tree Spooky Buildings

Just as for years I have been buying Christmas buildings from Dollar Tree, this Halloween they had spooky buildings.

They work for about 15mm to 1/72nd scale.  Shown here with a 1/72nd scale Caesar Miniatures figures is their lighthouse.  I think this would work for many scenarios where an old lighthouse is needed from about the American Revolutionary War to today.

A Victorian house with balcony.  I like the vine growing up the front.  The tombstone can be easily painted away or hidden with landscaping.

These buildings have a great war torn look or even abandoned part of town look.

Those who do zombie games or post-apocalyptic games should buy these.

The flat roof is a nice place to station a sniper or artillery observation team.

Dollar Tree Crypt

The above ground crypt is from Dollar Tree.

Above ground burial is very common in many areas.

The model is porcelain but very sturdy.

Those of you who paint well would probably be able to do a better job.

They come fully painted like these two, seen here with a 1/72nd scale figure from Caesar Miniatures.

Tombstone Corners by Dollar Tree.

This is a three pack of gargoyles.

They are already painted nicely.

They are a pretty good size and should work for any scale from 15mm to 70mm on the top of buildings.

They do have a bit of a Disney look to them.

Still they are pretty good in my opinion.

They fit nicely with the other items from Dollar Tree.

They say they are a decoration only not a toy.

Gate

The Dollar Tree Halloween items include a fence and gate.  I did not get the fence because it was very short and not that interesting to me, but the gate is cool.

The pillars have a gargoyle on top.

It's pretty creepy and just big enough for a large car.

With a change in the top of the pillars it might end up as the gate to stately Wayne Manor.

Bones Gazebo

Dollar Tree is selling Halloween items now.

I am not sure what I will use this for, but it might work for a haunted house, vampire, or other very bad guy scenario.

As you can see, it is a very nice size.

I suppose it will end up with some kind of superhero game.

Part of some super villain lair no doubt.
