Paints

When I primer paint the spacemen I use Tamiya Aluminum if they are going to have a metallic paint or semi-opaque paint applied.

Those space suits from Destination Moon were re-used in several movies and TV shows and very similar suits appeared in other movies.  Usually they were color coded so you knew which person was which character, since is was hard to see their faces.

Coral Blue is the first paint I will use.

Tamiya Gloss Aluminum.

All other figures get white primer from RustOleum.

More Hot Wheels getting a repaint.

Several different versions.

Bottoms get repainted too.

I am using the Rut-Oleum Camouflage series paints.

The Deep Forest Green makes a very nice olive drab for post WWII US Army vehicles.

More WWII German late war vehicles get the primer paint.

A few resin models and a few plastic ones.

Don't shy away from resin because you think it's hard to build.  It uses the same tools as regular plastic models.

The only difference it that you need to use epoxy or super glue to put them together.

These howitzers are half painted / half unpainted.  I paint the bottoms first, then flip them and paint the top.  That way the top painted part is never on the table surface.

Tiger II hull for use as a carrier for a K5E railway gun.

Easiest conversion ever, stick a pin in the pre-existing hole on the Roco Tiger II.  Done.
