Missiles Standing By

Standing by for the attack.

Most war is just waiting.

New long range anti-tank missiles are a great danger to the enemy.

Such a danger his tank heavy forces have gone around to the north.

Three days of waiting for an attack that never came.

Motorcycle Car

While looking for other, more military stuff, I found this vehicle.

It's sort of a motorcycle inside a car.

I think the rider operates the car like a motorcycle.

It has two nice jet exhausts on the back.

I am considering cutting out the motorcycle guy and giving him wheels.

He is a perfect 1/72nd scale figure.

Car

A super hero needs super villains to fight.

I am considering this as a super car for a super villain.

The car is the Screamliner.

It's an interesting vehicle I think.

Perhaps the ride for the Riddler?

I think this might be a good car for him.

The classic and elegant and powerful styling certainly makes a neat contrast to the Batmobile.

I think they look good together.

Matchbox on a Mission

This little camper from Matchbox.

I think it will work well as an ambulance, electronic warfare vehicle, commo van, or command vehicle.

It's a nice 4x4 type vehicle.

I will have to strip off the paint of course.

I like the hatch on the roof.

Matchbox Haul

Here is the Matchbox mini dozer with a 1/72nd scale soldier.

I like the track detail.

Here is the mini dozer with the full size dozer, quite a difference.

These recent Matchbox purchases make a pretty good Alaska National Guard unit I think.

Scooper

This is the new Matchbox Mini Dozer.

It's a new vehicle and it works great for close in construction projects.

I think it would work well for modern and even near future.

It's interesting, the arm only has one side.

It's even kinda cute.

Digger

This is the only time I have seen this vehicle.

It's a good vehicle, but kinda cheapo.

The top turns forward and back.

The arm is not bendy.

Also there it no bottom to the cab!

Still a pretty good vehicle for a buck.

USFS

This is another new Matchbox vehicle.

It's a giant FWD pick up truck.

It's in fake US Forest Service colors and markings.

It has a nice sunroof and spare tire on top.

There are big knobby tires.

The bed hatch opens.

Tree Handling

This Matchbox vehicle is called Dirt Smasher.

It does have a dozer blade on the back, but it's main tool is a tree grabber.

Shown here are some 1/72nd scale Esci US Paratroopers.

This type of machine would be common in areas were logging is done.

The dozer blade can also be used to make dirt roads to the trees.

This would make a nice group for creating a base out of an Alaskan wilderness.
