Always keep spare parts handy.  Note the shovel.  It was common on the Swimmwagen and this one is from the Roco Opel Blitz.


Note the paddle.  I got this from the spares box.


I spray paint upside down first.  Then when I turn them over too soon, there is no visible marks on the wet paint.


I space them out far enough that I can spray into all the nooks and crannies.


Models with really bad paint jobs get put in Simple Green to soak off the paint.
