Tiger I

4/15/2013

The Tiger I is probably the most produced tank in HO scale.  This one is the old Roco version.  It is at least 40 years old.

This one is the Tomy version, it has rubber tracks that don't fit and fall apart after a few years.  No interleaved wheels, but other than that, it's one of the best looking versions.

Zylmex made a rather marginal version a number of years ago, tracks were similar to the Tomy but not as good!  I replaced them with some from a damaged old Roco tank.  They fit just fine.

Here is the Corgi version.  It is really nice and has a great paint job too.

This is the new Roco version.  I don't have very many because I don't consider it enough of an improvement over the old one to swap them all out.
